Visible is part of the main gear (24 wheel main gear, 4 wheel nose gear). This picture was taken during on 'Open House' at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Arizona on 15 March 2003, Sig... Good News; Luke AFB was chosen as the training base for three squadrons (76 aircraft) of the F-35 fighter. They should arrive within 18 months!!!

Neat pic. Gigantic. I see we're up to 103 of these now with the C-5M being the latest and greatest. Can you believe we've been flying these since 1970!
