Description

Kerry had never seen any Opae in the flesh, but of course he had seen a lot of propaganda about them on the holovids. They were always portrayed as unreasonable beings, occupying the energy wells out of malice to humans, then squandering the energy without any apparent purpose. However, Kerry was suspicious of the propaganda, knowing from bitter experience that humans were profligate energy wasters, depleting their energy reserves with scant regard for the environment and making little effort to wean themselves of their collective addiction to scarce unrenewable resources. He was startled to see an Opae woman sitting nonchalantly on the stairs outside his home, but his surprise was quickly forgotten as she engaged him in a deep discussion about his motives and aspirations. He quickly realized from her questions and comments that he shared many aspects of the Opae world view, and when she proposed to take him to the asteroid mines to show him what the Opae were attempting to achieve he immediately agreed, even if it meant abandoning the community to the violent and corrupt gangs for a while. Poser 9, Vue 10.5 Infinite, Photoshop CS6. And so the story continues.... As always, thanks for looking and for any comments you care to leave. Craig PREVIOUS: Unbalanced

Great scene. (I'd add some "junk" on the ground, looks too clean to me. A few leaves e.g.)

Fantastic characters, poses and story. I like how you've used the desolation of the surroundings can convey the need for change. Superb scene. Kerry is shaping up to be a very interesting character, embarking on something new and different. Should be exciting I can't wait for the adventure to begin.

I can't believe I didn't comment on this when you put it up! I saw it, got all inspired, and probably just wandered off thinking about Kerry. He's been hovering around this morning, whispering in my ear.
