I took a walk in the garden the other day and caught this little one still sleeping.
Hello everyone. I've been away for five and one-half months but am back and ready to rejoin the Rendo community.
It hasn't been a very good year so far. Cora passed away on June 4. Her picture and story are here:

Two weeks ago her oldest daughter was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer.
My married friends Dennis and Taoli lost someone very dear to them in May. Dennis and Mark knew each other for forty one years. They were best friends and had toured together as members of a rock and roll band for several years in the early 1970s. Mark and I were just becoming friends. This last July someone very special here on Renderosity lost her best friend. Her sister died of cancer on July 9.
And Pauline, my English friend and neighbor, continues her rapid descent into Alzheimer's.
When these things happen I learn lessons. The last six months I have realized that every life has an expiration date so we should not waste it. And we should be good to each other. After all, when all is said and done, we're all we've got.
And me? I'll tell you about my hilarious trip through the American healthcare system tomorrow.

Welcome back, Mark! beautiful image! I remember Cora, and I,m sorry for her death! I think she was a great fighter, because she made it to June, four months of the time doctors gave her. i'm Sorry to hear how many friends of yours are gone. I'll be waiting for your history!
