Description

More learning about hair in Carrara. Trying to create a believable cheetah for a friend, from MilBigCat. The hair is working well but the cat body (even with the DAZ cheetah morph) needed a lot of adjustment to head size, shape, and body dimensions to improve the model. It could still be skinnier though, with shorter fur. Now I need to work out how to save the body n head adjustments as a usable Morph...

This is looking good and the hair looks terrific, and adds a new realistic dimension to this figure!

looks really good -- yeah, fur is likely shorter, but it looks wonderfully real, just too long. I like the black backdrop for this, works well for the yellow tones.

This looks great! If you figure out the saving of the morph part, please consider sharing both the method and the morph in the forums here, specially the method -- I have often found myself having the same predicament... Also, for a more fur-like look, I would consider adjusting the hair shader to decrease the thickness to zero at hair ends: it results in a more sleek look, which might be more appropriate for a cheetah since they don't normally appear very fluffy... You can even use a texture map for that if you are looking for a less uniform appearance. You did a great job on the morph and the hair.
