My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Is this for me? Thank you Tara. I have had the most vicious case of cabin fever and really need to get out for a walk. What a beautiful inducement to do just that.

What a lovely shot! I love the light and the wood tones and the idea of a curvy bridge! How much better can life get? This has the feel of a nice, leisurely stroll. Superb as both a photo and a dedication. Oh, and as something totally unrelated, Pecan Sandies are available in the vending machine at my job...right next to the soda machine, which DOES have diet Coke! I thought of you as I indulged in Pecan Sandies and diet Coke on my break this evening!

I hope Mark is not bent!!! Lol. Nice shot Tara.

Looks a great place to walk and I would have loved to have been in on the build, assuming they don't have crocodiles or other nasties there.
Deadly_Ernest
Is it for Mark because he's sending you round the bend, or because you want to send him round the bend? Sorry, too good a line to let go by with that image. Nice shot and mixture of woods.

Very nice Auntie, my eye just wanders around the boardwalk :)

Very nice photo Tara.

Those ghostly and stark looking trees are softened by the smooth curve of the bridge, a symphony of both - hard & soft, rich & poor, bare & covered ... so cool Tara, nice dedi for our friend Mark, I wish him a speedy recovery, BB (have been very busy as of late)
alanwilliams
a lovely sweeping curve, full of interest

Is this a scene from a wetlands or a zoo? Well done.

Hmmm.... reminds me of one of Faemike55's photos, but that had a straight bridge. This one disappears to the left. Where to? There's the mystery in this photo. You've got us guessing! Good job! Keep it up! :-)

Beautiful.

A beautiful capture with great lighting. I would just have to go that little bit further to see what is around the corner.

Amazing winter picture in summer :)))

That would have been a bit of a challenge for the carpenter. Love the atmosphere.
