Description

A publicity still from an imaginary lost 1971 BBC sci-fi drama. For authenticity I should have used a disused quarry for the background, and there's one quite nearby (where an episode of Doctor Who was filmed back in the eighties) but I couldn't be bothered to drive there. So I used a 'shopped photo of a local beach instead. From the imaginary Radio Times listing of the imaginary pilot episode: “BBC2 9:15 Prospero's Journey Episode 1: Missing, Presumed Wiped NEW SERIES The crew of the spaceship Prospero touch down on a mysterious planet that was the last reported location of their sister ship Merlin. They discover the missing ship apparently undamaged and in full working order; but the crew is mysteriously absent, and the planet's enigmatic inhabitants will say only that they had angered the gods. WITH: Peter Wyngarde as Commander Roland Appleby Penelope Keith as Lt. Commander Janice King Richard Burton as the voice of Caliban, the ship's computer. ”

I like your craft and scene. I also like the fact that you took the time to come up with a background story for your model. That sounds like something I would do. Great job. Don't every stop modeling.

Looks great in a scene...like the integration with photo background and foreground elements...backstory is well thought out, especially Richard Burton as the computer voice(would have been a great show!)

Like it, perhaps if you had a time machine you could go back to 1971 and pitch it at the BBC. Better still, pitch it at them now and see how they run with it. Disappointed that you couldn't be arsed to go around to a local quarry. Still, nice pic though.
