It looks like it was painted. A great bit of sight line planning here with a wonderful and ever so slightly sinuous leading line. Very clean and crisp color swaths with every zone neatly defined.

Beautiful. This photo evokes a lot of questions in me simply because I'm a curious person. Are these for regular middle class type people or only the rich? Why are there no people present? Was this taken at the height of the season or off season? The sky is at odds with itself and very fascinating to look at. You have done a magnificent job capturing color, simplicity, and complexity in one photo. Thanks for sharing.

The world takes on a sort of un-reality when photographed well! This is a perfect example of that. The vivid colors and the overcast sky should not exist in this close a proximity, in terms of what we accept on the most prosaic level...and yet, this image places vivid color and cloud-diffused light in the exact same shot, and the effect is stunning. That's what I like about photography, especially if some manipulation takes place (and especially if no manipulation occurs.) This shot, for me, verges on the surreal simply because surrealism is interested in something other than commonly-accepted reality. This image shows us "common" reality in an uncommon way, and I love that. It does so through color and composition and in a really spectacular balance between vivid colors and stark lines and regimental geometry in contrast to openness and a kind of "disordered" and diffuse vastness. The tension between those is what really makes this photo pop, sizzle, and seduce. This is brilliant.
