Description

Captured 8/2/12, early AM, within the perimeter of the neighborhood. ZOOM please. Due to the scant reception on yesterday's Bolsa Chica Conservancy Wetlands posting, I'm suspending the rest of the series for the foreseeable future. Most unfortunate, because the best was yet to come. The poor response is not an anomaly and is happening more and more often. That said, many thanks to the fifteen who did view and to the fab five who did comment. Have a nice day.

Ha this one looks like something you would see around here...a lost sneaker hehe And hey summer is a tough time to get the chance to sit and comment etc Harry dont get discouraged my friend. Everyone's just probably busy doing summer things! :-) Have a good, whats left of, weekend!

Spectacular colour in this wonderful capture, Harry; the shadow looks to me like two penguins going eye-to-eye in a disagreement, soon to break out in a fistfight, if penguins had fists... and don't get too disappointed, it's slow all around here. I'm getting lots fewer comments too; I think it's the summer vacation. (And for the record, there were no bees in my shot today--I shot when they'd all moved out of range to avoid blurs!)

Okay, Rosie and Denice, nice try at making me feel better and trying to rationalize all this, but I know you still get plenty of comments, summer or not.

Well Harry! Bit surprised that you think my comments on the wetland posts are critical, they were not.. Having worked on two wetland reserves, I know how these things are meant to look and be managed.. One, owned by the Sir Peter Scott, of the Famous Wildfowl Trust.. I was NOT disrespecting you or them but the reason there is no wildlife is because of the reasons I gave! NOT because of YOU! Further more Harry, there was no need to send mails to Rosy or expect Denise.. And say what you did on that comment on here.. Live with the number of comments you get, try different things, less collages, less of this! Rob

OK Harry! I am running about 5 days behind in my comments. Life is a bitch but I am trying as best I can. I am surprised that you would wear such a snazzy sneaker but it is a nice placement and shadow!
