------------- Stacked Deck - Sorted

Stacked Deck – Sorted.

Well, here we are. Seven cards all lined up in a row. Forgive my presumption, but that would be the King of Swords, Derek Cage. That would make Lana the Queen of Swords. Anna and Harry would naturally be the King and Queen of Staves. Fen would be the Knight of Swords and Selina the Queen of Cups, inverted, of course. And that leaves me, The Fool. Or in a regular deck of playing cards, the Joker, I’d venture.

I guess this was taken in the summer of 18569, right before we hooked up with the Night Raptors to head south to Brightwater. That’d be Dwargin’s behind us. If I had a shil for every night I got tossed out of that dump,… I’d probably have enough to go back in for another round on the house. ‘Course they’d just take my money towards my back bill. As I recall it, and now look at the portrait done by Miri Vyron on that sunny day, I’m surprised Selina’s standing quite as straight as she is. Seems Lana had a go at Capt Tomolak the day before and then hooked him up with Selina. Something about making Cage’s prize stallion jealous. I do vaguely remember Selina buying a special made cushioned saddle for the ride the next day.

Still, leave it up to Harry to fall into a pit trap and get teleported half way across the continent. After three days in Old Calladon, we’d taken him for dead. Never mind we had to ride half way back out of the Central Barriers because he was the only one amongst us with a Dimensional Folding spell. Then angels appeared out of a brilliant light and brought him back to us. The Night Raptors that is, not actual angels,… though there was some confusion on that identity when we first laid eyes on Miri. So, when the Raptors put out a call for information about a special stone, naturally Anna and Harry had uncovered passages in the journals of The Necromancer that might be of aid. Hell, whether they were or not, I’d say it was worth it just to spend a few nights on the road with Miri Vyron.

Great group image. I kinda miss seeing males in groups, lol. Lana looks really good here. Her stance gives off some good body language and a hint at her personality

As a reminder of who they are (left to right); Fen - Sylvisan Elf Ranger. Selina - Zeigus Elf Thief. Baldwin - Half-Elf (Carellonian/Pouarr) Bard. Lana - Human (Hellenian) Paladin-Defiant Champion/Erotic/WarMage. Cage - Human (Carellonian) Fighter-Soldier. Anna - Human (Hergovite) Mage. Harry - Human (Carellonian) Cleric. A typical, classic D&D group,... with only one real wild card.
