Description
I want to dedicate this to you, Vic, for all the wonderful gifts - Thank You, my friend! Sorry it took so long to get this posted.
Knowledge passes... It passes down from one generation to the next. It enriches our lives, and allows a set of skills or a family legacy to carry on. These are priceless gifts you cannot get from a book.
An aging mage watches with quiet pride as her protege' takes her first steps into a shining new world. She has learned well, and there is little more her mentor can teach. It is up to her now to add to the store of knowledge with which she has been gifted. All too soon, her mage, her teacher, her friend, will depart and leave her to carry on the legacy - and eventually pass it along to her own protege'.
I want to dedicate this to all my Rendo friends as well. I am so sorry I missed all the July Birthdays, and I apologize in advance for August as well. I will probably miss them as well....
My posting and commenting will likely be off and on for a while....
Things are not going well with my dad. He fell Friday evening, and is in the hospital. The doctors don't think anything is broken, but won't know for sure until they look at the MRI scans taken Saturday afternoon.
He was drifting in and out of sleep when I went to see him - mostly due to the mediction for pain. He did not recognize Aunt Esther (his sister), but he did recognize me.
When Jo and I saw him Thursday, he needed help to just get up from his bed. He is very weak, and becoming weaker by the day. His dementia and confusion is getting worse also.
I don't think he has much time left...
I will be taking a bit of a break from Rendo, but I want my friends to know I will be back as soon as possible. I'll be checking the galleries, and will comment as time allows. I'll also be working on the TNA story as time allows. There is still much to tell!
As always, thank you all for your support, your friendship, and your wonderful artwork!
The part of the Protege' is played by Vyktohria's April available at RDNA.
The starfield is courtesy of NASA. I wish them luck with the landing of Curiosity on Mars Sunday.
All lighting in this render by me.
Peace,
God Bless,
Blessed Be,
Be Well, My Friends!

It's so hard to see our parents(s) decline as they get older..Family support is so important.. Excellant image. Passing all info onto the younger generation will take time but looks as though she is ready..
