Description

:)Hi again, I took a short creative break but I am back again. Did you miss me? ;) This pic is obviously inspired by the excellent "John Carter" movie. I'll never understand why this was supposed to be a flop?! I loved every minute of it! :) But who am I to tell? I am just a SciFi addict for the last 40 years watched hundreds of movies and read thundreds of books and I really really love the movie =D The texture/body morph of the three ladies is "Peorth Darkchylde" and the addon package "Peorth in Space" both available here at Renderosity Marketplace and made by my friend Seto Kaiba Thanks a lot! The martian steeds are created by my friend Digital I. Thanks a lot pal! Poser 6/Pro2012 -> interPOSER(Ltd/Pro) -> Cinema4D V13 Studio 64-Bit -> PhotoshopCS5 64-Bit /PhototoolsPro 2.6

Of course we missed your amazing artwork and fantastic details! i thought the 'John Carter' movie was excellent too but i doubt the title helped, sounded like some boring political thriller.

I as well thoroughly enjoyed the movie! I have lived most of my life being well aware of the Edgar Rice Burroughs stories about John Carter of Mars, and being enchanted by images from many superb artists inspired by that. But...I have never read the stories myself, so I saw the movie (this past weekend!) with only a vague idea of what it was about. I had no preconceived notions or expectations of what to expect. I enjoyed it immensely! Later in talking to my son about it, who had seen it earlier and wasn't particularly enthralled with it I mentioned how the movie "John Carter" was from the first book, "Princess of Mars" and my son suggested that it would have made a lot more sense if it had been titled that for the movie, and would have been more appealing to theater goers. He might be right. And I was getting to this... I VERY much like your artwork. All of it!

Beautiful work as always my dear friend :D I loved John Carter as well. I still don't understand the whole "flop" about it. It still confuses me on what it was exactly they poured all the money on in advertising... I hardly knew about it, or heard about it. They wasted their monies with whoever it was that they hired to take care of that part of the business. Hope they never use those people again heh
