The small stairs lead to the entrances of private gardens. Of this there is a lot here. Each garden owner or tenant even is responsible for his entrance.

Beautifully captured. I had an uncle that lived in the Stuttgart area and they had a lot with a little house on it. The area looke similar to this. Nice shot!
