domssc66-san The three-string instrument is called a shamisen ('三味線' literally "three strings") or samisen or sangen. The Chinese sanxian was introduced through the Ryukyu Kingdom (Okinawa) in the 16th century.

Another delicious work of art, Fujiko-san! So beautiful, my friend! Interesting info on the instrument, too. I still have a few childhood memories of living on Okinawa when my dad was stationed there in the early 50s. I remember it being very beautiful.

I missed this ebot and such a shame I did, for this is so very lovely and classic, Fu-Minn! I love the colors and the beautiful pose, so very relaxed and sensual. I will have to get the gold fish prop. I found a great gold fish on Share CG with textures, too! They will go together well. Thank you for the link. :)
