My name is Chris Williams
I live inIndianapolis,Indiana
My working background is in structural Lightweight concrete, Concrete Masonry and Precast concrete. I am retired now but was a Technical sales manager in the Lightweight Structural Concrete Industry. I was involved in many of the major construction projects in Downtown Indianapolis and around the midwest.
I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember and have a great love for sailing and dabble in sailboat design, hence my avatar. When I was young I studied art at the John Herron Art School and Ball State University. My first computer was a Commodore Vic20 with 20KB of ram. I found the idea of doing art and drafting on a computer exciting long before software was up to the task of doing more than very crude and simple drawings. So it's been fun and amazing to see the advances through the years.
I have been using Poser for years, I don't even remember when I started using it. My plan is to offer more products for sale here at Renderosity both figures and Architectural Models.

She is very well done, the bit of crows feet at the eyes is very realistic!

One never knows when an effect is desired or when it is unfortunate when it is so dramatic. The lower eyelashes look like they are a very rectangular brush but actually it is the shadow that does that. A really large fill light from below that does not get blocked by the floor is what I would attempt to get on this gorgeous face and all this work. The difficaulty is that the throw is so short to stay above the floor and yet point up enough to relieve the shadow softening with the light size. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I admit this is my approach to using a photography book advice in Poser which has simpler limits sometimes.

Thanks The shadow is apparently an anamoly of using indirect light and subsurface scattering together. I have posted threads in the forums regarding this and am working to prevent this from happeninng. The IDL is not seeing the transparency map of the eyelashes with regard to the shadow.
