Nothing special, just polishing rusty skills with a portrait and light study of my favorite character.
Yes I'm still alive and yes it's been almost 10 months since I posted an Aranée pic. The wife still has some issues but is definitely on the mend with daily progress. So finally after all this time, I find I have a few minutes each week to do some renders. I spent several weeks (yes WEEKS) putzing around with another image, only to declare it blah and hopelessly ugly in the end. So I reverted back to my favorite lady and this one went together almost effortlessly in a few hours - go figure.
So I guess I've gotta ask: Is there ANY interest in me resurrecting the Aranée storyline? Or is it too old and stale, not worth the bother? I know a few of you must have been a bit frustrated when I dropped out without warning, I'm sorry but I couldn't avoid it. For those of you who haven't seen the original story, you can find it HERE.
Thanks for the inquiries about me and my wife. It's good to be back (even on a limited basis) with my Rendo family...

You have to ask us if we want you to resurrect the story????????????? I do hope I am not the lone voice in the wilderness who cries a resounding and echoing YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your image shows that you are not rusty in your 3D work the lighting is fantastic and the lady is beautiful So glad to hear your wife is doing well and getting better every day My best thoughts and prayers are with her and you oh! by the way!!! Good to see you post again my friend, and to hear that you are all doing OK. I followed the link - gosh, is it really over 4 years since you started your story?! That's an enormous commitment - even if there have been some breaks - and of course YES, you have to continue and complete your story! Great image too - the lighting is very dramatic!

I'm not sure when I will be commenting regularly again, but I will be, and I will read every chapter you post. Beautiful image of Aranée with wonderful lighting and expression.
