Description
Well, Rene, here are the specs for the computer I recently purchased. I couldn't find out what kind of motherboard it has. Tonight has been a bear with this new toy. It has been hiccuping off the desk so-to-speak! It has given me fits both in DAZ Studio 4 where it distorts M4's face and Poser 6 where it refuses to respond to the mouse in the material room. I had to force shut down poser twice and the material for the floor shows a black and white checkerboard pattern in poser like it was supposed to, but it rendered into what you see in this render. Basically cr**p. I could have pulled my hair out by the roots, I am so frustrated. But I will only say here is the proof of the pudding. A very poor render. But I refuse to be defeated by this runaway beast. I will tame it or die in the trying!

i went to look and the assholes dont specify the moBo either. i bet the graphics is crap or not configured well, now i dont know about intel graphics i use mostly nvivia for ages already just in my laptop was a radeon by default. i guess the equipment is a good one except the graphics. is it doing this only in poser or also other applications the odd behavior?? they could have taken 2x 8 gig ram and leave 2 slots for upgrading. thanks for letting us know.

Very interesting machine Rene has the same option as I, separate graphics card - that might be an option for you

That sounds like a good deal. You can always add a graphics card.

Nice picture even though you think it's crap...New computers are a pain sometimes, but this sounds like a good buy with plenty of RAM. Maybe Win7 doesn't like the older Poser6 but Daz 4 should be OK. Might be the graphics card, maybe check with Poser & Daz support. Hope you can sort it out.
