It's been used by many and often. Years ago I did a picture with it called " The Loss" :

These really make me wish I had some of her characters, they are so different and otherworldly. She seems to have been a special artist when it comes to making characters. Just as special is your artwork, my friend. I look at this and I'm transported into a place that is so different than my own, a mental journey that I don't want to pull away from.
