Description

This is the starting area for the 6 & 8-bridge bicycle ride in Portland, Oregon. the 10-bridge people started behind us and actually went a different route (of course, since they had two addtional bridges to cross) Joe, my co-worker's boyfriend, and I participated in the 8-bridge pedal (24 miles) at last count, there were over 27,000 registered riders signed up the night before. this does not include those who registered the day of this event. All together, I rode 28 miles and I loved every minute of it. I will be doing this next year, only I'm going for the 10-bridge ride (36 miles). I will be posting more photos of the ride and I'll be posting some videos that I took of the ride and some of the events that I saw along the way. Thank you and have a great day and a wonderful week. This looks like a lot of fun, Mike! Nice capture of the crowd of cyclists. It's been so many years since I've ridden a bicycle - I'd probably break my fool neck if I tried it now...
