Description

I have a cabin in the mountains, in the woods. there are mice there, too. I have tried cats, traps, poison, cloves, sonar... nothing works to keep them away. this little guy was found this weekend. his mama ran off when their nest was dumped outside. I hope she came back to find him, but as cute as they are, they really are not welcome in my home; they belong outside. please, stay outside... thanks for looking! I'll be away for a few days, I'll try to catch up when I return.

We have chip monks that like to get under the inclosure of the cabin... I spent months under the cabin in 2007 getting it rodant free. My Mom use to use decon rat/mice poison - I bought some and it was all eaten with in 48 hours - about 4 boxes.... the bad thing about decon is they die, then they stink.... If you lock up your cabin for a time period, I'd just put a bunch of boxes of decon out when you leave EVERY TIME.... I use to have rats, they are like rabbits and have babies quick - you have to set out the poison even if you don't have problems just to prevent so many of them - they multiply fast.... and yes, it is a cute creature, and I feel bad to have to exterminate them, but if you don't, they can get in your cabin a you could catch a deadly sickness from them.
