Description
the last bridge we had to cross, the tallest as well, was the Fremont Bridge.
At the peak there was this Taiko Group who amazed us with their art
There were also spots for those who needed their bikes tuned up and of course, a chance to meet more people

What an amazing post! So high a bridge...and fantastic drumming. I remember hearing a drummer (taiko, I think) declare calmly: "God lives in the big drum, and whenever I hear or imagine such drumming, that quote always comes to mind...and it's the taiko drumming that has kept me completely hooked on the Bear McCreary soundtracks to Battlestar Galactica, already my favorite show, now my favorite show AND favorite tv-soundtrack music. This is superb!

Nice! The Fremont bridge was still pretty new when I lived in Portland. I lived in the second one of those OLD mansions to the right on the east end of the Ross Island Bridge at one point...

Looks like great weather. We had thunderstorms & a tornado today. Its clearing up, but the Joshua Tree National Park is on fire from a lightning strike. (again) It was kinda' sad. Smoke from a fire across a rainbow. "(
