Description
Time had indeed slowed... but, that hadn't stopped the erosion , it had only prolonged the destruction.
It wasn't time that had caused the world to rust and crumble. The actions of the beings who inhabited the planet, all planets for that matter, that brought about the demise of each of their worlds, one after another. They fell apart, each of them, due to neglect. Each worlds' species, after some promising evolutionary changes, had grown arrogant and proud, filled with selfishness they disregarded the very thing that allowed them to live. Rather than nurturing their mother planets, they ripped and tore and raped the lands, taking what they wanted without thought to how it was torturing and wounding the mother who gave them life.
The TimeKeeper could no longer sit upon her clock throne, instead she perched at it's feet... thinking, trying her best to come up with a plan to stop the madness. But, she was merely a watcher, a tender to the clockworks and her precious hourglass. What could she possibly do to bring an end to the insanity of men?
The hands of the great clock moved slowly... ages would pass before each tick of the clock. To her only moments passed while on the planet below entire generations came and went as quickly as a breath. Midnight approaches...

WOW! This picture fairly explodes off the screen with all those amazing reds and copper colors! You can really feel the urgency in this piece, echoed by your words...yet in her posture there is almost a feeling of resignation. If only we could heed the warnings Gaia is sending out--there might still be time to save the planet. Excellent piece!!! OXOXOXO Jane

you go guy....this is almost electric in it's intense details strong composition I do feel a little overwhelmed by all of the textures in the top part of the image as they fight for my attention the shaded areas near her feet give that section more depth perhaps a few more shadows (or even soften the details with a whisker of blur) in the top half of the image to tone down the detail a little and lead your eye to the main character but mate.....you know this is good, the two pages of comments tell you so this is just an opinion well done carl

I use the term breathtaking with great reservation, but this one, and the next one that I glanced at, both deserve the term. You really have just blown away in your ability to portray body language. Texture strength rocks. And your colors evoke, pure raw emotion unto themselves, they are beyond mere supportive elements.
