Description
We just found out that my husband, Tom's, 93-yesr-old mother is dying. There is no single reason, her body is just old and tired. The doctors have moved her to hospice. My husband does not expect her to live out the week. This one's for him.

I agree with Mike, if she is able. My family still talks about my grandmother's 'mixed pickles' which were pickled beans and corn and incredibly delicious. No one has the recipe. We do have others, though, just not this one. I am very sorry to hear about her being ill and fading. I do hope she goes quietly and in peace and surrounded by those she loves! My prayers are with you and your husband.
