Description
Hot and humid night here in the Blackstone Valley. The river is fairly quiet and the water fowl are asleep under the bridge. However, the Katydids are getting out of hand with their incessant ritual mating rites. Reread Clark Ashton Smiths short story- Demon in the Flower- and next thing you know my resident Spirit, Charlie, decides to crank things up even more. As I was working on the fractal, behind me I hear my ink pens being rattled about- he does that to clue me in that he is around. Actually, he has been around for 200 years, he owned the Inn I live in. He is harmless but a prankster, info has it that he was always that way.Now I get to put up with it. Enjoy the Flower!
