Description
Since Dad claimed to be 29 until he reached 40..lol, I'll hold my tongue on disclosing his age. It is however a milestone year :~), and so I picked something out of my personal collection.
If I can still call it a collection! The kids have not been kind to any of it and little remains in good condition...lol! This Malachite egg is one specimen that got stowed away out of harms way. I always found the eye pattern with the pupil intriguing. (Sorry I don't know how to remove the flash in photoshop, it is covering the pupil). The way the lines flow around the egg and blend back into that eye pattern mesmerize my mind. Hope you enjoy it Dad, Happy Birthday!

Wonderful and I wish the best for your dad. Perhaps best shot without a flash with higher ISO or with a diffusion filter on the flash unit rather than trying to fix postwork. JMHO

Beautiful patterns. The bottom photo looks like some gas giant in a faroff solar system. Worth keeping out of harm's way. A very nice birthday gift for dad.
