Description

the man who made these did not use on most of them blueprints to carve his models. He say he used the specs and even find blueprints of some of the real cars and he used them to do this work. That my grandson who is eating a cookie, He wish to play with them but did not touch. Two of the painting is mine which is in the room and the ones outside the room is someone else. Do not know what type of wood he used. I do know they around $300 each. If I had the money i would buy them all.

back when I was working , I was always throwing good scraps of wood away and very expensive wood.later what I kept in my garage I gave away. it was my intentions to make toys, but as many things I lost interest. I got the remains of a $50.00 piece of prime red oak in my garage. just did not have the heart to chunk it. I used the oak to make shelfs in an expensive cabinet(not for me). I spent $150 plus for the oak. I bet the cabinet cost $1000 or more because of being an antique another fine shot

These are by far the best wooden models I've ever seen in my life Jock, and like you I wish I had the money to buy therm all. It's obvious the man who created these put a lot of care and attention into getting every detail just right. It was cool to learn he used actual blueprints from real cars for his models. Seeing these models makes every guy feel like a kid again, it's little wonder your grandson wanted to play with them so much. It's also great to see your paintings hanging in the gallery, you should be very proud of your accomplishment. I recall your painting on the right that you shared with us a short time back, but I'm not certain I remember the one on the left. Hope you will share a close-up photo with it as well as more images from this gallery

Both your paintings and these wooden vehicles are incredible! That's a wonderful shot of your grandson, Jock! Wow - I still have a few chunks of my old oak tree that was taken out of my front yard last year... Hummmmm.... Maybe I ought to get out my Dremel and fire it up! :-D

I too would like to buy a couple of them, but I know that your grandson would get more pleasure from them in ten minutes than we could in hours! But yeah, he would probably break something.
