Like every year, mainly in the summer, Heidelberg is full of tourists. These photos (and many more) I took in a quarter of an hour, on and near the Old Bridge. Thanks for viewing. Please zoom!

If Heidelberg is anything like Prague, then the locals leave when the tourists arrive, unless, of course, the locals happen to be tour guides, bartenders, or musicians, or anyone else who makes their living off of tourists! Funny how that works. I find it quite marvelous that there can be cities like Heidelburg, Prague, Paris, or anywhere else: places that are incredibly beautiful and with loads and loads of history. I think what's interesting is that such places DO exist and life in cities like that is just regular, everyday life...with tourists whenever it gets warm! These shots are marvelous and it's a great glimpse into another place, and lots and lots and lots of other people!
