The chimpanzee is taught to speak, In sign language he's taught to greet, His fellow humans as they approach, With Bananas and other fruit to eat. In a field of grass the cattle lay, Unknowingly awaiting for that fateful day, When their hapless brains are blown away, No more to see the light of day. And when one day our chimp escapes, Dashing out through opened gates, By chance he finds the slaughter house, And watches quietly... as a mouse. The cattle slaughtered one by one, The death and destruction the humans done, The cattle served on a plate as meat, For his fellow humans so to eat. With fear and anguish in his eyes, He sits to contemplate human lies, And all at once he starts to weep, His tear drops falling to his feet.
