Description

I posted a picture here while the building on the right was being built several months back the main church is to the left of the old one and the new building on the right is a school I have been told that this church is the largest property owner in Dallas. quite unnerving really

They both are attractive, but look odd sitting next to each other.

Reminds me of the battle Donald Trump had with the little old lady in New York... her tiny house was smack in the middle of the property he was building one of his glittering towers on. She didn't want to leave, but in the end she was forced off the land. Doesn't surprise me that a church holds large amounts of property... so many are willing to give away all for what they believe will get them into heaven. brilliant, thought provoking capture.

The Church has much more classic beauty in its architecture than the school. It is interesting that you can see the reflection of the church in the school windows.

I have always wondered about planning commissions that approve such a mix of style, architecture and eras. It always seems they try to improve on a look that already is in place and in doing so, the eye meets with a battle scene rather than an enjoyable one. Well done.
