some were asking about location. lake george is not in my back yard, but I sure wish it was.
lake george is located in the adirondack mountains in northern new york, usa.
the lake is situated along the natural and historical path between the valley of the hudson river and the st. lawrence river. it lies along a direct land route between albany, new york and montreal.
length: 32.2 mi (51.8 km)
width: 3 mi (4.8 km)
it has 395 islands within the lake.

Thanks for sharing these. My father grew up near this place and I never went there, so I never saw it. I certainly heard him talk about it a great deal growing up though. Beautiful night capture. Love the light reflecting on the water. seth
