------------- Tales of the Raptors – Hellfire

Hawke returned from his summer adventure, whatever that had been, on the second of Sixlue, in time to inform the Raptors he was moving out and severing his formal membership with the Raptors. Seems his summer adventure had shown him a different path ahead for his life. He would be moving his things out of Raptor Place, not that he had much, and would take up residence in Professor Asha von Volstahdt’s house.

The two would be joined there by Sister Megan Schockley, who’d severed her ties to the Carellonian Nights. Her exposure to Carellon and the Church of Bahamut had changed her puritanical ways only slightly. They were joined by three others that they’d collected on their adventure.

The first was a Houlifar from Dient, a nobleman or so rumor had it, someone who’d had experience dealing with the Vampire clans, Lord Davermillion Borgenburk. Story was, his family had been killed by vampires near Nice Little Place before the Three Wars, and he’d diverted from his Bardic training into the path of Detective.

The second was one of those vampires, an old acquaintance of the SGL, Lady Maedrea Mordentshir. As a vampyre, one of the noble born vampires, she could walk the burning rays of daylight, though she had no love for it. She was trained in war, her talents focused in the path of Demonhunter, tracking down her kind.

And the last was a Warlock of no small talent, Andrew Covington. Covington had been a follower of Hell’s Belles who had traveled with them from Sonntaglia, not a particularly religious warlock, but dedicated to his witchcraft. They’d managed to capture and convert him and he now used his spells to hunt those he’d once served.

It didn’t take long before Asha, a retired member of the SGL, Hawke, and Sister Megan, all former Venture Company adventurers, had formed a new Venture company, Hellfire.
