at least it's not the memory of taking you first face dive into the pavement from riding a bicycle - lol cool picture, do you remember riding one? I do, but the one I really liked was called a Krazy Kar - it was round, you sat in the middle with two wheels on both sides - kinda like a wheel chair... you could get it going in circles and get extremely dizzie - lol

i remember my first rollerblades.the "others" they all had plastic wheels and i was rolling on steel wheels, wich made of course more noise, sometimes i got chased away form neigbours. i felt sometimes very lonely and poor as kid,but looking back i think i am better off than most of the "upper classes",and i outlived already a few who had a better start than me.so i think life equilibrates on its own.

This is so wonderful done, dear Cheryl. I don't know, in a way it let me think about, what memory you had in mind by making this special one. I hope it are good memories. Anyway, I love it very much!

This is a beautiful and intriguing image that had quite a strange effect on me when I first looked at it. For some reason, it made me think of the movie Paper House and a scene in which a little child (a girl if I remember correctly) met the boy who lived in the house she always drew. The thing is, the boy couldn't walk and when the girl asked him why, he said, "Because you never drew my legs." I have no idea why that movie popped into my head, especially since it's been decades since I even saw it, but something in this image made me think of that: I think it's the "hand drawn" or at least "hand painted" quality this has. It's brilliant work and it does evoke a kind of dream-like something that memories of childhood can possess. Now, what any of that has to do with a somewhat obscure movie, I have no clue, but there you have it.

I remember my first watch, that didn't survive day one when I rode my bike on a snow covered road.
