Description

Mari is a goddess in Basque mythology. She is associated with thunder, hail and storms. She is also considered a goddess of witches, and can often be found by the side of a stream brushing her long hair. Thanks for looking! Have a wonderful day/evening dear friends :) Ray

Beautiful brooding character. She seems to know things and is disapointed that people around her don't understand what she feels is common sense. I saw your Basque reference and became curious and did the wikipedia search. There is a lot of odd and interesting info of what seems to be the last organized people of a 'pagan' society. I'm going to have to go back and read more. They seemed to exist well into dominant Christian times. Awesome render.
