Description

This tiny primate, the Common Marmoset has a huge Oak tree in its enclosure. As with most animals in modern zoos they have an enormous area that they are free to roam. These splendid climbers look rather strange in a 30ft high english Oak though. They are hard to spot too! I'm not sure what he was supplimenting his diet with. It just seem facinated with the underside of leaves as he climbed. Catching him with his tongue out was a bonus.

A super capture of this little fellow but as you say it looks strange to see him in an oak tree, but he seems quite happy. I'm glad to hear they have a very large enclosure. I like that he is cheeky enough to stick his tongue out at you.

Wouldn't it be fun to go for walks in the forest and find these! A great photo, Kevin.

We have lots of oaks but not much more than squirrels and birds living in them. Wonderful capture of this funny-looking little guy!
