Description
Took the family to the Monterey Bay Aquarium last weekend. One of the things I often enjoy are the observation platforms facing the bay that allow for some rich wildlife viewing. Here we have a 300mm telephoto stitch of five images (do zoom). Most of these basking beauties are Harbor Seals, though I'm not sure if the darker one is. There was quite a show when a larger seal showed up and tried laying siege to the Harbor seal perched on the right of the image, next to the Cormorant. Will post a few of those at a later date.

Hey, I think I know those guys! Years ago I visited the Monterey marina where seals would lay around the docks. Back then you could buy bate fish and feed the seals. Most of the seals were half asleep so the seagulls would steal most of the fish before the seals knew what was going on. Nice capture.
