My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

A 'wonderful' outlook and super words. We get more than our fair share of rain here in the UK too!

And those of us who live in deserts envy you. Easop lives (the mule and the seasons)! Wonderful imagery.

Wonderful verse and a great picture, but its not just Seattle that gets the rain I seem to have done a whole flower show season here in the UK getting wet standing in mud or soggy grass still that's better than burnt brown grass and trees.

What a wonder of a poem! I'm from one of those flat places that doesn't actually get "mountain weather" and so I can't imagine what it's like to live in such a damp environment, though it holds some appeal! This is a marvel of a poem, and I'm glad I read it while taking a break from doing whatever it is that I'm doing. Such insights too...I can't say that I take sunny days for granted, but I do wonder at times, what nar-constant rain does for local perceptions of what weather is.

"Nobody appreciates A day without rain Like someone from Seattle" Or indeed an Englishman :} I agree with Katraz whole heartedly. No on to the writing, what lovely piece of verse Tara. So evocative.

Amazing work Tara. It is starting to heat up here in Pretoria. yesterday it was a hot 29 Degrees Celcius and today they predict 32. So we will see what the rain will hold in for this summer. God Bless.

You never cease to amaze me with your multiple talents, Tara! A wonderful poem, and a lovely illustration! Wish some of that rain would work its way east of the Cascades.... May get some here today, but I'm not holding my breath!

An amazing poem, which I love very much, as the image is in a wonderful shaped blue! This really is TRUE! :D

After 31 years in hot, often drought plagued Kansas, I love the rain. Your image makes for a perfect illustration. Well done you:)

Here in the UK, my postman has worn shorts for three months, and his legs are still lilly-white. So I think we have something in common!
