Thanks so much for the great comments on my previous uploads. Those insects were in fact both dead. One person mentioned that and they are correct. Macro photography requires more patience than anything else. The settings really impact results.

I do love cats and this one is no exception - what a beautiful close-up, but what I really like is the translucency as the light shines behind her ears ... (BTW our Monkey died a year ago and I still miss her like mad)
