This actually reminds me of this really bad horror movie I saw once that I couldn't stop watching because the house was so gorgeous. In the center of the house were glass walls around a garden with a stream/pond. And there were birds in the inner garden. I can't even remember what the main actress looked like, but I remember the birds were a light yellow, and the stream had a bridge across it. This is a similarly natural yet homey scene. I hope you get a place just like this one day.
