Description
We went to the river the other day and of course, the dogs came too. You've already met Odie, the black and white dog; her pal is Ginny, a 12 year old German Shepherd. I cropped this, but other than that, it's right out of the camera. Something about it just caught my eye.
ps--Odie doesn't go anywhere without one of those green tennis balls--hoping some human will throw it for her!! Of course, some human always does!!

Don't you just love straight from the camera shots! I saw the title for this piece and thought of pirates for some reason; I guess it comes from living in a place that might actually have had river pirates in the past...not Chicago, mind you...we have pirates now, but of another sort. Anyway, I thought of river pirates, saw dogs and though: "Yep...and the little one is the boss." Funny how that works. I love this shot, and dogs are such fun, four-legged people! This is a great shot and I like it a lot. Oh, and by the way, German Shepherds are among my favorite dogs.
