Love the glass object. What app did you use for this scene?

Super lighting and reflections in and from the crystaline star. Most interesting - the colours and contrast are very suiting to the scene. Nice clear render (looks like Bryce? I nearly didnt notice that you had called it "vein" - because thats what it instantly brought to mind - so then this is a virus lurking there...mmm or perhaps a gout crystal on its way to the big toe? Hope you dont mind if I share this image with my friend who works in the National Medical Lab electron microscope Dept. She'd be most interested.

Beautiful colors and light. And I don't know whether this is rendered or just beautiful compositing, but the caustics effect looks great.

thank you all for very nice comments - I used my standard process, The background is a cloud scene using two positive and one negative light in Terragen, the object is Xemodream produced and the render is Octane with some light post processing in PS. Kinchie, it's funny, but my wife made me watch "Contagion" and that movie was what inspired the image, though I'm sure a Virus looks nothing like the star thing. But I'm sure the small inner world is filled with much strange beauty.
