I was born in the flat lands of Kansas in a family of nine. My love of images started when I was 11 in the mid60s and my mom brought home a box full of Life and Look mags. Being the middle child, withdrawn and depressed. I took these images, cut them up made collages to express myself. My Art form begain and so too my love of Photography. I still make Collages from found objects. But once I got my computer I turned to 3D Art. Then replace my old SLR with a digital and here I am. I now live on a small Island in the Puget Sounds. With my husband and two cats and a menagerie of wild life.

This is a wonderful image! I feel the same way about books and reading Books are a wonderful way to learn and escape :) It makes me sad to see sports become more important that reading..wow, where is this world headed?

This is awesome! And I am glad there are others who share the passion for books that I have. Thanks for the dedication, and thank you for the thought. Perhaps one day those who depend upon nothing but electronic communication will come to realize that you can't send anything on dead wires... We definitely have our priorities mixed up in this country. thanks for the smile bonita seth

I always get a smile when I see Zlata. I read a lot when I was a teenager as there was nothing else to do.I worked part time in the school library and took a book everyday to read. I read very fast back then

Books!! I love books. I cannot part with books. But, I have to clear out some of the old ones I have to make room for more ... sigh. A house is not a home without pets and books, right? I adore Zlata, and I love the room she is in, must be her room, right? All those beautiful books!! Lucky girl that Zlata! BEautifully done Bonita, and your rant is so well ranted!!

Books represent an alternate life for me. I feel like I get to know the characters personally. I like to have a beer with Harry Dresden before we take on a vampire or two. I cry when I read about what they did at "Wounded Knee". Books open our eyes... Books and you Babe are two things I could not have lived this wonderful life without. I am so thankful we have had each other. Even with the world crumbling around us we can still set togeather on our old ripped cat demolished couch with a cat on our lap and journey back to when things made more sense. My love for you is like a never ending book that just gets better the further on I read. I love you Baby, forever...and when the last page is turned we'll still have our story. Just a new Chapter... Hope is a dream for all of us to pray for. forever Love..... Bear

great job with Zlata, i enjoy using her alot myself. it so sucks when they close the doors on education beacuse of budgets, these lotteries in some states need to help fund education, we have a lotto n colorado but they don't do that, so much goes to parks, parks don't shape the minds of our childern, a wonderful dedi for the man Seth.
