Description

"The Ministry had said she had been lost to a torpedo, all hands went down with the ship, no wreckage, no oil, no distress calls. She had been carrying top secret cargo from New York to London, some said it had been a new weapon, to end the War....others, well, they suddenly went very silent over the matter. Strange thing was, about that time a lady washed up on the Norfolk coast, the fisherman had said she was dead, in a poor state, been in the water a fair while he said..mind you no one ever saw the body, he said he had buried her at the local Church Yard to give her a decent send off...trouble was, no grave was ever found dug fresh like.. " " And what do you think happened then Tom ? " " Me ?...not my place to say like, pretty looking thing though " Please zoom for details, cheers, not going to be around for a while, got to work away for a bit, thanks for all your recent comments and views, see you all soon :-) The characters and events portrayed in this image and text are entirely made up and any resemblance to any person alive or dead or events is entirely co-incidental

For some reason the tale and darkness of the image reminds me of the work of Lovecraft. Tremendous.

Gorgeous scene and cool backstory. That makes for quite an unresolved mystery.
