OHHH!!! MY favourite sparrows. How very cute they are. I wish we had such little baskets to feed our sparrows with. Lovely shot, Jeff.

Just back from killing Cock Robin NO DOUBT!

Yes, they are rather vicious. They were brought to N. America by the British. They kill many songbirds here and take over their territory. For example, they enter a blurbird nest, kill the young and build a nest right on top of them. I've stopped blaming the birds because they are just being themselves. The culprits are the British! Very nice shot!

They are so lovely! I guess you don't have a problem with squirrels stealing your suet balls? I have to put all kinds of baffles to keep them away from my suet cakes, and they still keep trying.

These are among my favorite birds: they're marvelously urban adapted, and they outnumber people. Aside from that: they're quite persistent. I love this shot and the details are wonderful! Sprarrows: they're among my favorite feathered people and you captured these two brilliantly.

A great addition to your garden and it is a lovely shot of these sparrows. They are much maligned but are really very cute and so hard working.
