Description
13 years ago I was handed a little fluffball.
He kissed my chin and I was totally won over despite not really wanting another dog at the time. He has been a wonderful, loving sweet companion ever since.
It is time to say goodbye to him.
Our hearts are broken losing this very special special friend.

Sorry for the poor quality.. they are old snapshots.
For those wondering about my lack of posts lately, I lost everything in a hard drive crash.. I thought it was being backed up, but very little actually was.
I just have not been able to dredge up the energy to track down, reinstall and organize the software and content.
I want to.. just completely overwhelmed.

Brings tears to my eyes to know such a superb dog is gone. I know the pain of losing a companion like Kodiak. Having a dog in our lives truly teaches us what unconditional love is. Here on earth, the only place you'll get that kind of love is from your dog. Maybe there's a reason dog is a mirror of god ... My heart aches for you. God speed Kodiak .. fly free and high, run through the stars, skip over the planets .. and keep an eye on your "mom".

I was looking at your image gallery and I am just deeply touched by this post you made. Anyone who owns a dog would surely relate to what you were feeling. I have a 3-year old pug and he is the star of my eyes. My eyes started welling after reading this. I am sure Kodiak is now in dog heaven where he looks down at you and your family and smiles just wishing that you know he is happy where he is.
