My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very cool photo, though Scotch Broom and I don't get along at all

I have no idea what this is, except yellow! And apparently has something to do with an onion-scented floor-sweeper from Edinburgh. Or maybe not. It's lovely and the DOF is stunning! Unfortunately, I can't help in identifying this: but if there was a bug eating it, then I could backtrack, since insects are pretty specific about the range of plants they eat. Sometimes. Well, whether there's an ID with this or not, I like it a whole lot. I love that brilliant, sunny yellow!

Gorgeous. I have no idea either.

My best guess is Bird's Foot Trefoil (Latin: Lotus Corniculatus). I'm not smart, I just had fun searching on the internet until I found it. It is beautiful and so is your picture of it.

Nice scene composition. Beautiful yellow. Well done

A beautiful flower & capture, but I have no idea what it is. But I do have one for you: Q: What do you get when you cross an insomniac, an agnostic, and a dyslexic? A: Someone who stays up all night wondering if there is a Dog. (attributed to Groucho Marx)

Beautiful Yellow Flower... Aloha

Definitely a legume, but is it a shrub or a tiny plant?

Oh this is very special bright and beautiful capture.

I'm guessing birdsfoot trefoil myself, but I'm no expert. I see these around here a lot, and I think they're lovely. Excellent shot; has it been THAT long? YIKES!

This is one of the toughest colors to shoot IMHO. Very easily blown out. Love the image.. top looks a bit overexposed. Excellent details lower part, No easy answer here. I have given up on these myself. Still nice work. Just my thoughts.
