Description

Rendered in Bryce. The boat was modelled in RDS and the figure was imported from Poser. The tree was made with Onxy Tree Pro, and the other plants were borrowed from 3DPlants.com. Sort of a wistful fantasy!

Very nice work. The foreground is just amazing but IMO the cloud looks a little to much blurred out.

The tree is simply wonderful. I have Onix Tree for MAX, but it makes the trunks in low-res mesh.

The composition & tree are marvelous! I would like to see a rougher texture used on the dock. I think it would help provide a little more depth in that area of the picture.

Thanks everyone...I agree that I made the background too blurry..I shouldn't be finishing work on a new image too late at night! I am going to rough up the dock a bit too..stay tuned!...Kim

Kim, perhaps you should take off your quad-focals when working on a pic, might make the blurring more apparent! ;> Good work, as always.

I agree that the dock needs a bit of ware and tear but there is a thing called "Atmospheric Perspective" that was 'invented' around the Renaissance that says the further away the blurrier and duller. If anything I would make the distance even more blurry. Think about the focal lengthe of a 35m Camera.
