Mad Musings...
So, I'm a good cook. A REALLY good cook. I know at least 100 ways to fix chicken, can do some amazing things with vegetables... I have at least 101 ways to make the potato get up and sing. I can make dressings, sauces, gravies, breads and a turkey that will bring tears to your eyes it's so moist and delicious. My favorite cooks ever, my grandma and mom, could cook up a gourmet storm--- yet they made the driest, blandest turkey. I broke the turkey curse in my family.
I can make a tiramisu that will make you think you've seen the face of god it's so divine.
You know what my all time favorite dish is? Mashed potatoes out of TV dinners.
I've never been able to duplicate that and it's driven me crazy for decades...I adore them.
