My Heart will go on by Celine Dion... I've had an image bouncing around in my head for the last week, and now that I have what I need to begin to make it a reality (Dragon Lady outfit); I'm finding it very difficult to get it started. It can take me all day to do an image, mostly because I can be a perfectionist and for the most part I don't use back ground pictures, I put together the back grounds myself most of the time (when there is one). The last few days though, I have the urge to do something else, something sad, depressing, dark and that reflects my current mood. A very dear, dear friend; someone whom I care deeply for is very ill. I find it difficult to even put into words and I hesitate to mention how it makes ME feel because... isn't that just selfish to think of myself and my feelings at this time when He needs me to be at my strongest. I am reminded of that Toby Keith song... "I'm crying for me".. I can only think of the hole his absence is going to make in my life when the inevitable happens. He can irritate me with his critiques of my work.. but really; I asked for them lol. If he has taught me nothing else it is not to take myself or criticism too seriously. The song... well, we have this Celine Dion thing that has gone on for quite a while. "Our song" was one by Celine back in the day. The eventuality is; at some point he will be gone and we know it, now.. not later or after the fact, and I think that's the hardest thing right now. I have not yet reached the acceptance part of this thing yet. He's an amazing artist; he's done oils as well as pencils, charcoals and cartooning (is that the right word?). He even recently started learning how to transfer his talents into the digital arena and has added a flash animation that he did featuring his own art over at DA, he's not put up anything else yet; not sure if he will. Well, I can think of nothing else to say at the moment, so I will leave you with an Oursler quote: "People so seldom say I love you and then it's either too late or love goes.
