Description

Skipped a few shots that were sharper than this, but he had not come so far out of the water as in this shot. Seemed the Harbor Seal in the water felt he had exclusive dibs on this rock, and wanted the other to vacate the premises. The one sunning himself knows he has the advantage of higher ground and was not about to yield, more to come! The link will take you to the stitched image that started this series. Great shot - as the others have said. Really great through a 300mm. I love the Monterey Bay Aquarium - hoping to visit on my forthcoming coastal road trip in a couple of weeks. Well done
