Hello everybody. Here is the new addition to my collection of handcrafted jewelry that had assigned a meaning and a tale... Let's make a story. Back in 2004 I tryied a small program called Knotter that guided me to make some knots in 3D, very very primitive and actually not so good looking. I must say that my skills were not the ones I have now. That prog didn´t worked anymore in tghe latest versions of Windows so it was discarded for the new installations with time... But I had saved the knots, in a forgotten folder. But I found them and then made some work on those and look what happened... like the tale of the ugly swan! Now they are what you see, knotted metals with an antique flavor. I had just a small twisted section but then built all around and there is the result. Why Artissane? because I used to be an artisan for my whole life before to start with the 3D, where I do my artisan work with other tools. That is my current inspiration: handmade things. So, back to the roots... She is Brienn Fi, with the nice Calais hair. Must say I did lot of postwork on the hair because I wanted a more fluffy look. The clothing is the Hidden Winds shawl with those new batik and handpainted materials I am developing also. The rest is pure bling and sculpted brass and stones. The stones... much to say about... this time I did something I wanted for long time: gemstones from the earth. Turquoises, all kind of them. Hmmm and the materials can be used over everywhere, not only the jewels. So is said, will go back to my workshop to see what comes next. Have a nice saturday and enjoy. fabi
