I used to love collecting cones as a kid ... kinda miss it ;D

I have a friend that makes wreaths out of pinecones. The only problem is they are illegal to pick up in California in the wild. She has to get them from people she knows that have the trees on their private property. Nice self portrait, and interesting textures in this image. Pinecones are wonderful to collect.

Oooh, it looks like punctuation marks. I guess, this is where periods go when they're not at the end of a sentence; I guess they go there to breed, or to have their coffee-breaks in nature. OK...maybe not. I like this image a lot. When it rains and there are lots of pine cones like this around, the smell is amazing! This photograph is quite nice. I like it a lot.
